Description

Adrianna is a graduate in psychology with a specialization in clinical psychology (University of Gdańsk). She joined the Experimental Psychopathology Lab in October 2020 to work on a project funded by the National Science Centre, PRELUDIUM BIS, titled “Perceptual anomalies from the perspective of experimental psychopathology: the impact of cognitive expectancies on false auditory perceptions and its relavance to the continuum of auditory perceptual anomalies in clinical and non-clinical groups.” led by Dr. hab. n med. Łukasz Gawęda, Prof. IP PAN. In 2022 Adrianna completed a research internship in the team of Prof. Steffen Moritz at the Department of Clinical Neuropsychology at the Faculty of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the University Medical Center Hamburg Eppendorf in Germany as part of the NAWA Preludium Bis scholarship. Adrianna is also a recipient of the GSSR GISA scholarship and the NAWA PROM scholarship. Additionally, in October 2022, Adrianna started a 4-year psychotherapeutic training at the School of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy at SWPS University.

Before entering the Doctoral School at the Institute of Psychology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, she gained scientific experience during an Erasmus+ internship with the imec-mict-UGent group in Belgium, where she focused on researching the impact of technology overuse on cognitive functioning. She also completed numerous internships in medical and diagnostic-therapeutic institutions, gaining clinical experience working with children and adults.
