Description

Hania is a graduate in Clinical Psychology from SWPS University in Warsaw and holds postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Sexology from the same university. She joined the Experimental Psychopathology Lab in October 2022, where she will be working on a project funded by the National Science Centre – Opus-21, titled “The Role of Epigenetic Regulation of the FKBP5 Gene in Moderating the Relationship Between Psychosocial Stress and Psychosis-Like Experiences – A Study Using Experience Sampling Methodology.” Hania is a recipient of the NAWA STER scholarship, and in 2024, she will undertake a 2-month research internship in the team of Prof. Peter de Jonge at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

Hania is a member of the Emotion Cognition Lab, where she conducted research on daydreaming. During her psychology studies, she participated in several research projects funded by the National Science Centre. She completed a six-month sexological internship at the Mazovian Specialist Health Center named after Prof. Jan Mazurkiewicz, a 100-hour sexological internship at the Sexological and Intercourse Pathology Clinic, and took part in a psychological internship providing assistance to children with ADHD in the “Facilitating Life with Hyperactivity” program.

Throughout her master’s studies, Hania served as the chairperson of the student organization “Circle of Aviation and Space Psychology” at SWPS University. She was a member of the Faculty Council at SWPS University and received the university’s best student scholarship three times.

In her free time, Hania enjoys spending time actively, hiking in the mountains, cycling, or windsurfing.
