Description

Raquel López has a degree in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and is qualified as a General Health Psychologist. Since 2008 she is a Research Psychologist at the Research and Innovation Unit of Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu, working in the research group “Etiopathogenesis and Treatment of severe mental disorders”. Her main line of research is the study of psychological treatments for psychotic disorders. The line of research followed is framed in the study of schizophrenia and first psychotic episodes, especially in psychosocial, clinical and treatment aspects of the disorder; as well as in the area of assessment and psychometrics. More specifically, the studies carried out so far are based on the evaluation of different psychological interventions: metacognitive training, social cognition, cognitive remediation and emotional regulation in psychosis. She has collaborated in different competitive projects.

Throughout her career she has completed different master’s and postgraduate studies: Postgraduate in affective disorders and anxiety disorders in adults (UAB), Postgraduate in Clinical Psychopathology (UB), Master’s Degree in Child and Youth Psychology: techniques and strategies of intervention (UOC).
