Justyna is a graduate in psychology with a specialization in “clinical and health psychology” at SWPS University in Warsaw. She is also a graduate of dietetics at the Medical University of Lublin. During her studies, she participated in scientific conferences, assisted in conducting scientific research, and prepared publications. Justyna has completed numerous internships in hospitals and medical institutions. Her research interests focus on body image, eating disorders, and paranoia, so starting in October 2024, she will work as a PhD student on a project funded by the National Science Center, PRELUDIUM BIS, titled: “Mechanisms of the relationship between dysfunctional body image and paranoia-like thoughts. A study within the network analysis framework and using ecological momentary interventions on a non-clinical sample.”
Justyna has been associated with the Laboratory of Experimental Psychopathology since November 2021. She assists with projects: Sonata Bis entitled: “Mechanisms of paranoia: a role of interpersonal fear conditioning in the context of social rejection, cannabis consumption, and genetic predisposition. A virtual reality study.”, OPUS “Psychotherapy of Procrastination – Effectiveness and Neural and Behavioural Mechanisms of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Time Restriction” and ERA-Per MED “Towards a personalised medicine approach to psychological treatment for psychosis”. In addition, Justyna also acts as a laboratory manager, being responsible for organizing tasks in the laboratory.
